About the Job

Pickering Public Library has an opening for a reliable and hardworking Community Library Worker – a.k.a. Client Experience Associate – Programming. This position is a temporary part-time position reporting to the Manager of Community Engagement and Marketing. The position is responsible for facilitating programs and outreach services to community members of all ages under the direction of senior staff. This position coordinates various outreach activities under the direction of senior staff, including class visits. Candidates must have strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated enthusiasm for client interactions with a broad range of audiences in diverse settings. Experience with program facilitation is required. Must be available to work flexible hours – days, multiple evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and technology, experience as an enthusiastic community advocate, along with strong customer service, facilitation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Please note this is a temporary position (up to 18 months).

Client Experience Associate - Taskforce

About the Job

Pickering Public Library is looking for a friendly and reliable taskforce employee (a.k.a Page) with great communication skills to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, and weekends). The successful applicant will work varied shifts at both the George Ashe library and the Central library. Typically, Taskforce members work 2 or 3 shifts per week.
