Most Importantly, please join us for the second annual MAKERFEST, the event of the year! Saturday, November 2nd, 2019, 10 AM to 3 PM at the Central Library.
Visit the Library’s Maker Space for an innovative event celebrating the Maker Movement. Share ideas, visit stations and be inspired by mini sessions and the fantastic technologies available in your community!

Please note: The Repair Café will be run on a first come first serve basis. Items will be accepted by Repair Café volunteers based on knowledge and ability therefore some items may not be accepted. Suggested items are as follows: small appliances such as lamps, toasters, hair dryers, stereo equipment that doesn’t require parts, computers (without viruses), clothing repairs such as broken zippers, tears or missing buttons, stuffed animal repairs and obviously bicycle repairs. Items not accepted: large appliances, cell phones and tablets.
• No virus/malware removal or operating system reinstallation (eg. reinstalling Windows or macOS). Advice only provided for software related issues.
• RAM and hard drive upgrades only if replacement parts are provided by owner of device (data transfer and/or operating system reinstallation not provided)
Clothing repairs
• No alterations (eg. tapering of pants). Repairs only (rips, tears, buttons, etc)
All repair cafe attendees are strongly encouraged to bring replacement parts for items being fixed as we cannot guarantee availability of parts.
